Flourish ROC -Krista Hudson and Jenna Stehler

Flourish ROC is a Rochester-based community group founded on the belief that small acts can create meaningful impact. Led by Krista Hudson and Jenna Stehler, Flourish ROC brings people together to support local nonprofits, organizations, and community members through simple and accessible ways of giving back.
Through monthly community missions, Flourish ROC collects much-needed items for local organizations, uses social media to raise awareness about needs throughout the Rochester area, and hosts social and fundraising events that combine giving with genuine community connection.
At the heart of Flourish ROC is the idea that making a difference doesn’t have to be complicated or require a huge commitment. Donating an item, sharing a post, attending an event, or inviting a friend to get involved can all make an impact. By turning individual acts of kindness into collective action, Flourish ROC is helping generosity grow throughout the Rochester community—one small act at a time.

HCR Home Care-Diverse Care Project-Deanna Dudley

Deanna Dudley is a Rochester native and dedicated healthcare professional with 18 years of nursing experience. For the past 10 years, she has been a valued member of HCR Home Care, where she currently serves as a Compliance Nurse and Team Lead. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from Roberts Wesleyan University and is passionate about patient advocacy, health equity, and ensuring individuals and families have access to quality, compassionate care.
Deanna is also involved with HCR Home Care’s Diverse Care Project, an initiative focused on addressing the underutilization of home healthcare services within Rochester’s Black/African American community. Barriers such as lack of awareness, distrust of the healthcare system, limited access to primary care, and concerns about allowing healthcare providers into the home can prevent individuals from receiving services that may help them remain healthy and independent.
Through the Diverse Care Project, HCR collaborates with pastors from predominantly African American churches to educate older adults and their families about the availability and benefits of home healthcare. The project helps community members better understand how home care can support independent living, assist with managing chronic health conditions, and help reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations.
Through her nursing experience, leadership, and advocacy, Deanna is helping bridge the gap between healthcare resources and the people who can benefit from them—working to build trust, increase awareness, and create better health outcomes throughout the Rochester community.
