What’s Up Rochester is more than just a radio show—it’s a platform built to celebrate, connect, and amplify the voices of the Rochester, New York community.
Airing every Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM on 106.3 FM Rochester Free Radio, What’s Up Rochester was created with one simple but powerful mission: to give our community a voice.
Our Mission
Rochester is filled with incredible people doing meaningful, inspiring, and impactful work every single day. From small business owners and nonprofit leaders to artists, authors, and everyday changemakers—there are stories here that deserve to be heard.
Our mission is to spotlight those stories.
We believe that when people share their journeys, challenges, and successes, it creates connection, inspiration, and growth across the entire community. What’s Up Rochester exists to bring those stories to life and to make sure the voices of Rochester are heard loud and clear.
What We Do
Each week, we bring on a diverse lineup of guests who are shaping the Rochester area in unique ways. Our conversations go beyond surface-level interviews—we dive into:
- The stories behind local businesses
- The impact of nonprofit organizations
- Personal journeys of entrepreneurs and leaders
- Community events and initiatives
- Real conversations that inspire and inform
Whether it’s a startup founder, a nonprofit making a difference, or someone with a powerful personal story, we create a space where voices matter and stories resonate.

Through inspiring conversations and positive storytelling, the show connects listeners with the organizations, events, and entrepreneurs that make Rochester a vibrant place to live, work, and grow.
Whether she's behind a microphone, mentoring fellow entrepreneurs, supporting local organizations, or helping businesses find the products and services they need, Angella's mission remains the same: to build stronger businesses, stronger connections, and a stronger community.
The relationships built through What's Up Rochester? often lead to conversations about supporting local in other ways.
