Miss Cynthia L.S. Ely The Refinement Studio

Miss Cynthia brings more than 25 years of experience in learning and development, etiquette training, and leadership formation, with a heartfelt commitment to guiding both children and the parents who raise them. As a Certified International Youth Etiquette Consultant, trained and certified in London through the prestigious International Etiquette and Protocol Academy of London, she blends international etiquette, cultural awareness, and leadership principles into a thoughtful and practical approach to child development.
In addition to her work with families, Miss Cynthia has served in significant leadership roles across both nonprofit and corporate sectors, including over 20 years as a director on corporate boards in both California and New Zealand. Her work has always centered on one guiding belief: leadership begins in childhood.
Through The Refinement Studio LLC, Miss Cynthia partners with parents to help children develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, respect for others, confidence, and leadership readiness; skills that shape not only how children behave, but how they will one day lead, serve, and engage the world around them.
Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: “Etiquette is not about rigid rules; it is about awareness, consideration, character, and learning to move through the world with grace, confidence, and purpose.”
