For more than 35 years, The Advent House has been providing compassionate, end-of-life comfort care to individuals and families throughout the Greater Rochester region—all at no cost to the residents or their loved ones. This remarkable nonprofit offers a peaceful, home-like environment where people can spend their final days with dignity, surrounded by care, compassion, and the people they love.

Heather brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and community outreach. During our conversation, she'll share the inspiring history of The Advent House, explain how this unique comfort care home serves our community, discuss the incredible volunteers who make its mission possible, and talk about the many ways you can help ensure this invaluable resource continues to serve local families.

Sarah Johnson, founder of Emotional Health Hypnosis

 

Sarah has devoted her life to helping others achieve emotional healing and personal transformation. With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Counseling, and years of experience working in mental health, child and adolescent psychiatry, schools, and private practice, she has guided countless individuals on their journey toward lasting change.

Through her practice, Sarah specializes in Interactive Hypnosis, a unique, collaborative approach that works with a client's subconscious mind to uncover and address the root causes of emotional challenges. Her work includes emotional energy clearing, inner child healing, regression therapy, and helping clients overcome fears, trauma, limiting beliefs, and other obstacles that can prevent them from living their fullest lives.

Linda Callahan,of Callahan's Cleaning Service

Linda Callahan is the Founder and CEO of Callahan's Cleaning Service LLC, a certified Woman- and Minority-Owned Business (MWBE) serving Rochester and the surrounding communities. Drawing on experience in healthcare and construction, including OSHA 30 certification, Linda has built a company known for dependable, high-quality residential, commercial, office, move-in/move-out, and post-construction cleaning services.

Committed to professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service, Linda believes a clean environment creates healthier homes, stronger businesses, and better communities.
