Marlo Di Crasto
Marlo Di Crasto—a Rochester native with deep Italian roots and an incredible story that spans from right here in Brighton… all the way to the heart of Rome!
Marlo is the granddaughter of four Italian immigrants and was raised in her family’s beloved shop, Di Crasto’s Dairy, surrounded by food, wine, and culture. Her grandmother, Josephine—once called “The Pizza Queen” by Luciano Pavarotti—helped shape Rochester’s Italian community in a big way.
From performing on stage locally to building a 14-year career in NYC and LA, Marlo followed her passion all the way to Italy. She lived and worked in Florence and Rome, leading food tours, hosting wine tastings, performing on stage and screen, and becoming part of Italy’s vibrant arts and jazz scene.
Today, as a dual citizen of Italy and the U.S., Marlo helps others experience Italy like a local—curating unforgettable trips, authentic food experiences, and insider adventures through her company Curated in Italy.
