Jennifer Rogers

Jennifer Rogers, an abstract artist and mother of seven from the Finger Lakes region of New York. Jennifer and her husband began an adoption journey connected to Ukraine, an experience that deeply shaped their family and their understanding of the challenges faced by orphaned and displaced children.

Alongside her work as an artist, she has spent years volunteering with evacuated Ukrainian orphanages and refugee programs, particularly in Poland, supporting children and families displaced by the war. Both her art and her advocacy are rooted in a belief that connection, creativity, and compassion can bring healing, hope, and a sense of belonging, especially during life’s hardest seasons.

Haley & Luke

A little about them, they met through a work relationship with 2 different veteran support agencies. they both went through difficult divorces and out of those experiences, they created a bond of love, trust, and communication. Luke asked many times to have Hayley join him after work for an informal dinner and finally she gave in, and it was the start to their blossoming relationship.

They both decided early on that they did not want to marry again, but fate had other plans because Luke got down on one knee in 2020.Haley first thought he fell and hurt himself, but much to her disbelief he was asking her to marry him. They were married at the courthouse in 2021 and had a formal wedding in September 2022.

Luke has 4 children from his previous marriage that they share custody with their mother. Luke and Hayley discussed soon after marriage that they would try for their own child and after 2.5 years of going through IVF, they have been unsuccessful in conceiving. Luke’s oldest daughter is adopted, so they have an intimate knowledge of how impactful adoption can be. They cannot wait to become parents and go on this journey together!
