2026 American Legion Baseball Championship Tournaments

Post 468 will be hosting the American Legion Baseball State Championship Tournaments fron July 25th through August 2nd. We will have teams from all over the state competing. The winners of these tournaments will then advance to the regional tournaments in Massachussetts. If they are successful there they will then advance to the American Legion Baseball World Seies in North Carolina.
Last year was the Centennial of American Legion Baseball. It was the first time the state championship was hosted in the Rochester area ever. It was a smashing success and the team sponsored by Greece Post 468 actually advanced to the World Series. They didn't win ther but finished a respectable 8th in the nation ( out of the original 1400 teams).
American Legion Baseball is one of the core pillars of the American Legion, fostering americanism and helping develop tomorrow's leaders. Many major league players got their start in American Legion Baseball. People such as Cal Ripken, David Ortiz and many more.
